Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh “12 Inch Voices”

Between orchestrating a fashion line from the ground up, heading a luxury house, DJing, and exhibiting furniture in Venice; Virgil Abloh somehow found time to conceive a new installation titled “12 inch voices” for the OMA-designed spaces of Lafayette Anticipations. The project is apart of a group show curated by @alessio_ascari, labeled MANIFESTO. “12 Inch Voices” appears to be an expression of Abloh’s passion for design and music, as it marries a giant speaker system and Dj set with eye-catching grids of pyramids coated in pink.

The work was produced with the support of The Vinyl Factory for Kaleidoscope Magazine’s exhibition and will be on display at @lafayetteanticipations May 17-19.

Exploring the minds of the most innovative designers in a variety of disciplines and learning how design impacts every aspect of life.
